About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing issues with malfunctioning mechanical and electrical equipment and completing required repairs. This role involves performing minor building plumbing, electrical, and painting repairs as needed, executing preventive maintenance procedures, and assisting the maintenance lead or manager in outage planning. Other accountabilities may be required as necessary.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required with vocational training highly preferred
  • One to five years mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills in an industrial work setting
  • Pneumatic & basic hydraulic knowledge preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
  • Will need to be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • Ability to work all shifts and call ins if needed
