About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician 2, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment and facilities within the distribution center. This role involves performing technical maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of various systems and equipment, while also providing opportunities for continued training and career growth.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical Degree or certificate, or equivalent technical experience and education.
  • Minimum 2 years work-related experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of corrective/breakdown maintenance.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
  • Self-motivated and responsible individual with time management skills.
  • Certification in Powered Industrial Truck operation and Yard Truck operation required.
  • Knowledge of First Aid/CPR and AED certification.
  • Understanding of NFPA 70E and Arc Flash principles.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and electrical test equipment.
  • Ability to understand and follow established SOPs.
  • Basic knowledge of HMI systems for troubleshooting MHE flow.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System, MVPOne preferred.
  • Ability to read diagrams, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
  • General plumbing and construction skills.
  • Fabrication/welding experience preferred.
  • Flexibility to work all days and shifts, including overtime.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Installation, troubleshooting, and repair of material handling equipment, including conveyors and motors.
  • Installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure full functionality of forklifts, racking, and other facility equipment.
  • Optimize maintenance resources and control downtime through preventive maintenance techniques.
  • Use CMMS for parts inventory management and work order documentation.
  • Conduct good housekeeping practices, including 5S principles.
  • Support operations by working safely and customer-focused.
  • Assist with building and site start-up as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
