Maintenance Technician 1 - 2795 Applies electrical and mechanical skills to ensure production goals are met.

Requirements

  • Perform work under direct supervision.
  • Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Possess beginning to work knowledge of subject matter.
  • Typically require accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program or 2+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during and after construction.
  • Will work with team to trouble shoot mechanical and basic electrical problems.
  • Will work with fabrication and project crew when needed.
  • Will wire and trouble shoot single phase as well as 3 phase power supplies and motors.
  • Will be responsible for helping in all facility and building maintenance.
  • Will work with the PM crew if needed.
  • Will conduct daily oil and lube checks on machinery as needed.
  • Will work with senior techs daily to learn and understand more complex electrical issues.
  • Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
  • Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Will work scheduled overtime as needed.
