About The Position

Our Sulphur Springs, Texas beverage manufacturing plant is hiring! We’re looking for skilled mechanics to work 12hr night shifts. There are lots of great reasons to work for Ocean Spray! A day in the life of a mechanic: Has excellent punctuality/attendance record Maintains a positive attitude with team members and throughout the shift Communicates with team members effectively Follows all safety, quality and procedural standards Uses computer systems (CMMS) and email as needed Documents information in a timely and accurate manner Able to work in 24/7 manufacturing environment, including nights, weekends, scheduled maintenance shutdowns and possibly some holidays Able to work overtime for vacation coverage and training purposes Work includes, but is not limited to, repair of equipment, routine PMs, troubleshooting complex equipment, reading and interpreting manuals and work orders, maintaining a clean, safe work environment, and active participation in continuous improvement initiatives. Work collaboratively with operators in execution and training of operator PMs; respond to equipment process concerns Prioritize work orders and effectively utilize CMMS to document performance to work orders. Follow protocols for inventory management. Participate in and support the development of Maintenance SOP's. Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; adhere to and promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and quality practices; promote effective team collaboration. Requirements

  • Must have at least 2+ years’ manufacturing experience and/or experience with preventative/corrective equipment maintenance, repair, troubleshooting
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment which includes, but not limited to: lifting, bending, climbing, standing, crouching, kneeling, walking, talking, hearing, etc.
  • Ability to routinely lift/move up to 50lbs and regularly required to taste or smell product
