The technical production lead provides technical mechanical support on-shift for the packaging department. The technical production lead supports the maintenance team by executing planned maintenance activities and providing technical leadership and support for the production department. The operator-technician is responsible for working proactively and collaboratively with maintenance technicians and the Production Supervisor to transfer knowledge and execution of basic maintenance activities (Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication) to the autonomous maintenance group and to learn from the MWG. They will be a systems expert and capable of teaching methodologies to new employees. They will also cover line positions for breaks, and to allow other operators the opportunity to practice their NCE and TPM skills.
