Maintenance Tech

About The Position
Performs preventative maintenance work throughout the hotel. Focusing on guest rooms and public spaces. will work with Chief Engineer on projects as assigned to ensure hotel maintenance quality standards are achieved and maintained.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 1 year experience working in Facility Maintenance
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
Nice To Haves
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain the pool area and exercise room
- Keep grounds clear of visible trash and cleans the parking lot, sidewalks, breezeways, stairs, and entrance thoroughly, including weed removal
- Report any problems that would interfere with guest satisfaction
- Keep the storage area clean every day
- Complete various projects assigned by Chief Engineer
- Use facility maintenance program to complete room service calls
- complete preventive maintenance every month to ensure we PM all rooms by end of year
- Report and fix any safety hazards throughout the hotel
- Ensure that the stockroom has sufficient inventory to last at least two weeks
- Other duties as assigned
