NW Indiana manufacturing company has an immediate opening for an electrical and mechanical maintenance technician with a minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment. Responsible for, but not limited to, electrical and mechanical machine and machine component repair, troubleshooting or rearrangement of new or existing equipment/systems. Individual must be dependable, hardworking, self-motivated and willing to work overtime as required. Salary commensurate with experience and training. Shift hours are Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Job Description Basic understanding of electrical schematics, diagrams and print reading Troubleshoot, repair and replace electrical components, a plus Understand industrial electrical and mechanical systems Install, service and repair mechanical components Install, service and repair electric motors and related components Install, move and replace machinery and auxiliary apparatus Light fabrication a plus, but not required Perform planned PM routines Technology/computer skills, a plus Perform other related work as assigned Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years of electrical/mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Experience working with various voltages; 5-24VDC,120/208VAC, 277VAC and 480VAC Experience with mechanics including hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmissions & conveyors Flexible and open minded Able to work within a team environment, as well as individually Ability to lift 50lbs Able to work overtime as needed Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) Associate Degree and Technical Training a plus Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law. Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of electrical/mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience working with various voltages; 5-24VDC,120/208VAC, 277VAC and 480VAC
Experience with mechanics including hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmissions & conveyors
Flexible and open minded
Able to work within a team environment, as well as individually
Ability to lift 50lbs
Able to work overtime as needed
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
