Position Summary: Support production of Comfort Food products through the repair and maintenance of production machinery and facility.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing maintenance experience required
• Knowledge of common maintenance practices and procedures
• Electrical education/training
• Experience performing maintenance on industrial machinery
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints
• Ability to use meters and test equipment
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Hand/eye coordination
• Handling (holding, grasping)
• Wrist motion (repetitive, flexion, rotation)
• Seeing/depth perception
• Lift 50 lbs.
• Push/pull 400 lbs.
• Stand 100% of shift
• Hot and cold temperatures
• Cramped quarters
• Fumes or odors

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot various types of meat processing equipment
• Perform building maintenance
• Follow preventative maintenance schedule for processing equipment
• Follow lockout/tag out procedures when performing maintenance on all machinery
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Follow GMP/HAACP procedures
• Assist with other tasks as assigned
