OVERVIEW Upkeep of all private spaces, building exterior and public and back-of-house space, as well as maintenance duties. Clean and maintain all interior and exterior corridors and public areas in accordance with all housekeeping procedures and standards. Requirements

General knowledge in technical crafts (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) is required; an ability to advance knowledge in these areas
Proficiently speak, and comprehend the English language; ability to speak other languages in a multicultural work environment can be extremely helpful in facilitating good communication among all hotel team members
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and desire to participate as part of a team
Able to work in fast paced environment
Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks
Knowledge of maintenance operations and procedures
Knowledge of proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals
General knowledge of equipment such as vacuums, commercial washers and dryers
Demonstrate genuine care for guests and employees

Responsibilities

Maintain general condition of the building and surroundings at all times walking the property regularly
Maintain general knowledge of all types of mechanical equipment including chillers, boilers, water softeners, and refrigeration equipment, plumbing and electrical systems, and hotel shuttle
Monitor supplies & maintain working order of tools and equipment
Maintain a clean and safe working space
Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with all monthly, quarterly, and yearly inspections are done timely, accurately, and responded to as appropriate
Maintain pool and spa, performing chemical testing and maintaining up to date logbooks
Respond to guest requests and complaints timely, efficiently, appropriately and in a friendly manner
Maintain professional image at all times through appearance and dress
Follow Company policies and procedures and effectively communicate them to subordinates
May fill in as a hotel shuttle driver, transporting guest to various destinations
Complete deep cleaning or preventative maintenance as assigned
Follow Company policies and procedures
Clean all public areas in accordance with brand standards and management, including, but not limited to hallways, elevators, service areas, stairways, etc.
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments
Set up, tear-down, and service of banquets and meeting rooms
Report any missing/found property, damage or mechanical problems to management
Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
Report guest issues and complaints to management or supervisor in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
