The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for safely performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in one or more fields (carpentry, paint, electrical, janitorial equipment, HVAC, vehicle/golf cart etc.). To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned. Self-Starter with Leadership and problem-solving skills Perform routine and predictive maintenance Perform general cleaning and maintains clean work area Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, electrical & mechanical issues and then repair Strong customer service skills Comfortable communicating complex issues with superior, co-workers and customers in a professional manner Proven ability to work safely in industrial environments Familiar with and utilize proper Lock Out/ Tag Out safety procedures Perform preventative equipment maintenance and repairs on all floor equipment, scrubbers, chariot vacuums, extractors, etc. Respond positively to requests in a timely manner Ability to use hand and power tools, use of scissor lifts, ladders and scaffolding. Soldering and welding a plus Maintain maintenance logs and schedules To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
