About The Position

Join the Castle Family at one of their beautiful Properties in Whitney, Texas, a golf resort nestled on magnificent white limestone bluffs overlooking Lake Whitney. This property features single-family homes, clubhouses, boat rentals, condos, restaurants, and more, offering a pleasant ambiance for both staff and residents. This position, referred to as a Golf Maintenance - Groundskeeper, is responsible for cleaning projects requiring training and demonstrated skill. The role involves inspecting work performed on assigned golf courses and submitting reports to the Supervisor. The position is primarily outdoors, focused on maintaining the golf courses on the property, and requires providing exemplary service consistent with the values and mission of the Castle Group, demonstrating outstanding customer service skills both interdepartmentally and with external customers.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and be able to drive various types of golf carts and utility vehicles.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures.
  • Basic command of computer hardware/software is required.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Previous custodial experience
  • Multiple language fluency

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties as assigned including but not limited to: raking bunkers, mowing greens, changing hole locations, hand watering, blowing debris, filling ball washers, filling water coolers, moving tee markers, etc.
  • Maintains all cleaning solutions in accordance to OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals.
  • Removes trash from premises and assists in emergency cleaning.
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas and assigned equipment in good working condition.
  • Ensures that security procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Maintains professional working relationship with building staff.
  • Completes daily work orders as scheduled.
  • Ensures all safety precautions and procedures are followed while performing duties in accordance with OSHA.
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.
