Maintenance Tech 1 Performs routine and scheduled preventative maintenance of building systems and equipment. Assists in routine inspections of mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) building systems and equipment. Works individually and in teams with other trades employees, outside vendors and Cleveland State University (CSU) employees. Maintains and communicates accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned. Maintenance Tech 2 Performs complex preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) building systems and equipment. Utilizes advanced diagnostics skills and tools to conduct detailed inspections. Manages emergency repairs across all mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) building systems. Ensures MEP building systems operate efficiently and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
