About The Position

The Maintenance Tech position is responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs on facility equipment, property structures, and ground maintenance. All duties to be completed in compliance with EPA, Hazmat and OSHA safety rules and regulations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Certified in use of fork trucks/lifts preferred or willingness to be certified.
• Minimum 1-year industrial maintenance preferred.
• Experienced in operating a variety of equipment such as lawn mowers and small hand tools
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Able to work well with minimal supervision
• Able to drive or learn to drive a forklift, tractor, etc.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures

Nice To Haves

• Certified in use of fork trucks/lifts preferred or willingness to be certified.
• Minimum 1-year industrial maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs.
• Maintains inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Responds quickly in the event of an emergency, notifies appropriate personnel, and follows safety protocol.
• Implements preventative maintenance measures.
• Completes maintenance work orders as requested.
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
