The Maintenance Tech is responsible for maintaining a clean, professional and safe working environment at all times. Team members in this position perform routine and non-routine maintenance work procedures that are established by the Maintenance Manager. This position is multi-faceted and requires an understanding of company policies, procedures and values.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Basic troubleshooting skills and mechanical experience preferred
Electrical experience preferred
Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills as well as the ability to adapt to change

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, professional and safe working environment
Perform and adhere to an in-depth Preventative Maintenance Program
Work with Operations on projects
Must understand and participate in LOTO program
Must be able to work flexible hours, including a rotating shift between nights and days
Accurately measure multiple ingredient bins
Load, unload and transfer milo from grain silos and truck to truck
Unload fat tankers
Assist in Packaging if needed
Rebuild and repair multiple types of equipment
Inspect and monitor bearing systems
Help to foster a culture of safe behavior and environmental compliance at all times
Maintain a team environment at all times
Other duties as assigned
