About The Position

The Maintenance Technician I supports day-to-day maintenance operations by performing routine repairs, inspections, and basic troubleshooting of facility and production equipment. This position is ideal for a hands-on technician with a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical maintenance who is eager to grow into more advanced systems and responsibilities. The Maintenance Technician position works under the direction of the Maintenance Team Lead and supports safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic mechanical knowledge (bearings, belts, chains, motors, pumps, etc.)
• Basic electrical understanding (sensors, relays, motors, simple circuits)
• Ability to read basic schematics, manuals, and work instructions
• Comfortable troubleshooting problems logically and methodically
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Willingness to learn and take feedback
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and related systems
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Work performed in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Overtime or call in may be required
• Some weekend is required (With 24hr notice)

Nice To Haves

• Trade school or technical certification preferred
• 3 Years of consistent work history
• 5 years of Manufacturing environment experience
• Maintenance Vocational Diploma

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance by responding to maintenance calls and work orders, assisting with preventive maintenance activities, troubleshooting equipment issues, safely using hand and power tools, following OSHA and lockout/tagout procedures, documenting work in the CMMS system, maintaining organized work areas, supporting senior technicians on larger projects, and assisting with parts handling and inventory tracking.
