As a Maintenance Technician, you will use your skills to support Manufacturing or Distribution Operations in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, and compressors, and other devices throughout the building. Building maintenance common to the trades may be included periodically. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain and repair conveyors, automated packaging, and distribution equipment. Supports a preventive maintenance routine. Maintenance Technician performs an increasingly wider range of duties of a more complex nature over time, such as working in multiple maintenance trades such as hydraulics, plumbing, refrigeration, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) which includes belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more. Applies mechanical skills in determining work methods and procedures for producing quality product.
