We are committed to delivering high-quality, sustainably sourced ingredients that support innovation and clean-label formulations. Position Summary: To assist in all functions of plant maintenance. Primary responsibilities for support are assisting in preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, installation of plant equipment, machinery, and buildings in a safe and professional manner. Work within the guidelines of good manufacturing practices at all times

Requirements

Basic mechanical aptitude
Good computer skills
Ability to become qualified on various types of forklifts and ariel equipment (primarily less than 5000lb sit down type)
Strong verbal and written communications
Ability to maintain composure during emergencies
Ability to learn about various subjects and items
Must possess a valid unrestricted driver's license
High School Diploma Minimum
Good communication skills
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Must be proficient in reading, speaking and writing in English for the purpose of record keeping, safety and quality training processes.
Available to work overtime including some weekends
Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work at heights up to 80 ft
Clean, safe driving record.
Able to work in all weather conditions
Capable to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to access equipment for repair and maintenance (may require crawling, bending, lying underneath equipment.

Responsibilities

Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
Read and comply with work orders concerning service, modification or installation of machinery.
Work effectively with other team members or independently in a loud environment.
Perform lockout-tag out procedures.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Assist higher level mechanics with repairs, troubleshooting, and inspections with minimal instruction from Supervisor or Manager.
Complete routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervision or management
