About The Position
The Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment, systems, and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations. SHIFT: Mon – Thurs 6:30 am – 4:30 pm. Sometimes ½ days on Friday. Lunch is at 11:15 – 11:45. PAY: $15 to $18/HR
Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and building systems (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC).
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to schedules.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine appropriate solutions.
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs in a timely manner.
- Install, replace, or upgrade equipment and components.
- Keep accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain tools, spare parts, and maintenance inventory.
- Coordinate with contractors or vendors when specialized repairs are required.
- Identify potential issues and recommend improvements to reduce downtime.
