About The Position

The Maintenance Tech I performs a variety of tasks, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, test and inspections of physical plant equipment, preventive maintenance and various janitorial duties with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of technical or trade school required
• Experience in operating a variety of hand/power tools and equipment
• Experience in building maintenance
• Basic mechanical engineering knowledge
• Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree preferred
