About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all CNC and PLC based equipment is maintained in proper working order. This role involves developing and recording preventive maintenance programs, assisting in new equipment installations, and troubleshooting and repairing equipment as needed. The technician will work closely with the Maintenance and Engineering Departments to ensure smooth operations and will also be responsible for training maintenance personnel in the proper care and maintenance of equipment. The position may require off-shift work and the technician must be available to respond to issues via cell phone when not on site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all CNC and PLC based equipment in proper working order.
• Develop and record preventive maintenance programs for all CNC/PLC equipment.
• Assist in new equipment installations and start-ups.
• Work as a team member to assist the Maintenance and Engineering Departments.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repair of all equipment.
• Identify and train maintenance personnel in the proper care and maintenance of equipment.
• Duties require some off shift work and also requires a cell phone to be worn at home for expeditious repairs.
