About The Position

As a Maintenance Tech Team Leader, you’ll be part of our growing team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to lead and direct the maintenance team in everyday activities to meet expectations, while ensuring all Safety, Quality, Delivery, and cost requirements are maintained. You’ll also get to: · Drive efforts of team members to achieve daily work schedules. · Assign work and give direction to team members while also assisting with hands on activities. · Manage overtime as approved through planning, scheduling, and supervision. · Perform OJT training and implementation of SOP’s in efforts to develop team members. · Assure materials are on hand that are needed to complete projects and repairs. · Demonstrate superior skills through ownership and accountability. · Facilitate team meetings. · Drive project activities. · Troubleshoot and problem solve equipment issues as they arise. · Multi-task and prioritize workload for yourself and your team. · Verify that team members’ paperwork and work orders are maintained and in order. · Assist leadership with managing all aspects of the CMMS data. · Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

  • Industrial Maintenance diploma or certificate plus 5 years’ experience or training as related to the technical field - Or - Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read electrical/mechanical prints and schematics.
  • Ability to understand and follow computer software.
  • A mechanical, electrical, engineering, and technical aptitude.
  • A strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Good communication skills.
