A Maintenance Tech Support will be a member of the Raytheon Advanced Product Center Operations Department, assigned to the Repair and Maintenance Team for Raytheon’s North Building Manufacturing Factories. 1st shift - 6:00am – 2:30pm – McKinney, TX. This position is an onsite role.

Requirements

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Experience with interpreting electrical schematics.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/ contract.

Nice To Haves

  • AA degree in Electronics
  • Familiar with ESD Control Program, and able to work in Class 100 to 100K clean room environments.
  • EHS certifications for Electrostatic Discharge, Electrical Safety, Ionizing Radiation Exposure, any additional safety training
  • Excellent communication skills needed, oral and written.
  • Ability to work semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to work with computer systems - Internet Explorer, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word

Responsibilities

  • Repair, maintain, and calibrate the SMT/Semi-Conductor assembly equipment and supporting operations (leak check systems, refrigeration, automated die placers, stencil printers, adhesive dispensers, wire bonders, plasma cleaners, wet cleaners, ovens, material handling systems, etc.)
  • Execute preventative maintenance and calibration procedures for equipment assigned.
  • Provide manpower for equipment moves and setups, and must be physically able to perform normal working tasks following prescribed EHS safety guidelines.
  • Work directly with factory production personnel and all other engineering teams within Assembly Process Engineering Department.
  • Use knowledge of electro-mechanical systems of automated equipment, ability to read and understand equipment manuals and schematics, and ability to troubleshoot equipment problems.
  • Work independently with little supervisory guidance, as well as within the team structure to provide support across the designated shift.
  • Overtime and weekend work may be needed to support factory activities.
