About The Position

The PT Close Maintenance position is to maintain high standard of cleanliness throughout the building to ensure that customers enjoy continued cleanliness and neat appearance including all public areas, restrooms, locker rooms, lobbies, and hallways. Check building equipment in the morning and take the pool readings throughout the day. Set up and break down banquet parties as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in maintenance is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed parameters and routines, and standard accepted practices
• Must be able to read and understand instructions for cleaning chemicals
• Must be able to cooperate, assist and support
• Must be able to use an iPad

Responsibilities

• Understand the JCC emergency codes and responsibilities of staff to respond to emergencies
• Be aware of and report safety and maintenance concerns
• Maintain compliance with all JCC policies and Facilities Department procedures
• Maintain daily assigned schedule
