About The Position

Outlets North Phoenix offers pedestrian-friendly and pet-friendly open-air shopping of name brand fashions to residents and visitors alike. Outlets North Phoenix is always high on the itinerary with more than 60 designer brand shops. Outlets North Phoenix is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Tech (M1). The M1 position is responsible in performing duties that preserve the integrity and value of the property , providing a safe, wel l - maintained, facility for our customers , tenants, and employees. Under the oversight of the General Manager, the M1 position organizes and performs daily maintenance tasks , preventative maintenance tasks, and other duties without excess direction. This Position will be working first shift and must be available to work weekends and holidays. Maintain all common areas of the center, including the public restrooms and parking lots, trash removal and curb sweeping, to the standards set by the company for acceptable maintenance. Operating sweepers , scrubbers, and pressure washer. Maintain the misting system – replacing mister heads when not spraying properly. Maintain all center equipment and vehicles according to guidelines established by the company. Must be able to change oil , filters, etc., without guidance. Maintain a safe and very organized maintenance shop, ensuring certain equipment and supplies are easily accessible and in good repair. Perform all duties according to OSHA established health and safety standards. Interacts professionally with the public, vendors, and center staff; maintains effective working relationships and work s · in cooperation with the management team to effectively meet departmental objectives. Maintain a working knowledge of all safety procedures established for the center. Insure complete working knowledge and familiarity of all center Emergency Procedures. Performs other duties or special projects as assigned, such as set-up of marketing events.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (G.E.D.)
  • One year of semi-skilled maintenance experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties required
  • Valid Driver's License
  • At the option of the Company, persons hired into this position may be required to either possess or obtain designated licenses, certificates, or specialized education and training relevant to the area of assignment.
