About The Position

The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of interior and exterior building maintenance and repair tasks within a commercial environment. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a customer-service-oriented mindset to ensure facilities are safe, functional, and well maintained.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of Maintenance Technician or related work experience.
• General maintenance experience, preferably in a commercial environment.
• Proficiency with common hand and power tools.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency to use internal systems and software.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
• Ability and willingness to be part of an on-call rotation and travel between job sites.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read and understand building blueprints.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work on interior and exterior building systems.
• Complete repairs and installations including, but not limited to:
• Drywall repair and painting
• Plumbing piping repairs and plumbing fixture installation/repair
• Drain snaking and basic plumbing troubleshooting
• Suspended ceiling reconfiguration and repairs
• Flooring installation and repair
• Adjustment and repair of interior and exterior doors
• Minor cabinet repairs
• Hanging and mounting items on walls
• Safely and effectively operate a variety of hand and power tools.
• Accurately document work and navigate internal systems using basic computer applications.
• Participate in a 24/7 after-hours on-call rotation as required.
• Travel to job sites using a personal vehicle to complete daily assignments.
• Deliver professional, courteous service while interacting with internal teams and customers.
