About The Position
The position involves performing general maintenance work to ensure that hotel maintenance quality standards are achieved and maintained. The role requires assisting with preventative maintenance and completing report work orders, such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, and patching vinyl, to maintain the hotel and uphold product quality standards. Additionally, the position includes performing preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis, checking electrical systems, making minor repairs, and assisting with major repairs of all hotel equipment, including small appliances, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, boilers, pool equipment, HVAC, and plumbing systems. The maintenance worker will also service the hotel's pool, maintain the building exterior, refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms, and respond courteously to guest inquiries and complaints. The role requires compliance with attendance rules and readiness to perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
