About You: As the Maintenance Technician III, you are part of Best People. You will work with other maintenance personnel utilizing our Best Systems, to complete and supervise project work including fabrication, installation, welding, grinding, painting, using hand tools and power tools. You negotiate scope of work, prepare cost estimates, and prepare work instructions. You help us to grow our business relationships, using your foresight to see potential issues and by delivering timely solutions to avert those same issues to produce Best Results.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematic drawings
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair Dock Doors, Levelers, and Restraints
  • Ability to design and fabricate line side ergonomic aides, racks, and dollies.
  • Ability to MIG and TIG weld
  • Experience troubleshooting Hydraulic and Pneumatic equipment
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work to ensure team safety, quality, and delivery of assigned tasks.
  • Minimum of 7 years of Industrial Maintenance experience required
  • Training equivalent to journeyman status or certification in an engineering discipline
  • Proficiency using maintenance planning software packages such as eMaint, MP2 or Maximo
  • Experience performing work safely both indoors and outdoors.
  • Experience and willingness working weekends.
  • Experience and ability to safely lift items up to 70 lbs.
  • Experience working in hot and damp environments, wearing PPE, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and standing/walking for extended periods of time.
