About The Position
OVERVIEW Cadrex is searching for a Maintenance Technician III with advanced experience supporting metal fabrication and CNC production equipment, specifically laser cutting systems, CNC Turret Press equipment, and press brake machines. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Advanced troubleshooting and repair of CNC lasers, CNC Turret Press machines, and press brakes Diagnosing complex issues across mechanical and electrical systems Leading preventive and predictive maintenance programs Minimizing downtime through root cause analysis and continuous improvement Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, PLC logic (basic), and technical manuals Supporting installation, commissioning, and optimization of fabrication equipment Serving as a senior technical resource on the production floor
Requirements
- Strong background in mechanical and electrical systems
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues independently
Nice To Haves
- 5–8+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Direct experience maintaining and troubleshooting CNC fabrication equipment (lasers, CNC Turret Press, press brakes)
- Associate/Technical degree in related field preferred
