Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required, Licensed Electrician perferred.
  • 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting industrial electrical applications of 480v, 240v, 110v systems.
  • Ability to work unsupervised at all times.
  • Operating knowledge of PLC’s to troubleshoot inputs and outputs.
  • Ability to operate milling equipment to make repairs as necessary.
  • Ability to draw basic electrical prints.
  • Ability to train subordinates in the maintenance field.
  • Ability to contact equipment vendors to discuss equipment issues and schedule service.
  • Ability to write work instructions and procedures.
  • Must understand and follow all initiatives and processes for Safety, Environmental, and Quality Standards as they pertain to job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Executes the operational plan of an engineering task based on engineering designs and work specifications
  • Works closely with external contractors and ensures the quality of delivered services and products
  • Sets up or adjusts complex equipment according to manufacturing specifications
  • Identifies and implements opportunities of process optimization
