Follow and promote safety and safely perform all job tasks. Provide multi-skilled maintenance support focused on customer service, quality, cost, and productivity in a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Continuous Improvement (CI) environment.

Requirements

  • 2-year associate degree in a related technical field or equivalent past work experience.
  • Continued technical training required each year.
  • Knowledge of and understanding of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak sentences required.
  • Must be able to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions and standard work.

Responsibilities

  • Support and follow all rules/guidelines/standards for Safety, Quality, and AMS functions as set by your leader and position.
  • Understand, troubleshoot, and problem solve issues of basic complexity in advanced electrical/mechanical systems (PLC, Drives, Servo, HMI, CNC, etc.). Test and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Ability to understand and use electrical test equipment.
  • Understand and know electrical arc flash protection code requirements.
  • Understand and know electrical circuits and safe work practices.
  • Understand and know the functions of PLCs, drives, and controls.
  • Ability to use the National Electrical Code to locate information that applies to electrical installations.
  • Perform troubleshooting process for electrical equipment and electrical systems.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
