This position requires a developed trade of expertise in machine maintenance and production equipment repairs. Installs, maintains and repairs hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, mechanical and electrical systems on all production equipment and can work independently in the performance of standard maintenance and repairs. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • At least 5 years of Industrial maintenance experience.
  • SPECIAL SKILLS: Thorough knowledge of programming of PLC and CNC controls
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and understanding of various industrial machinery and systems
  • Problem solving and diagnostic abilities to analyze equipment issues and find solutions
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
  • Strong communications skills to collaborate with production on timelines and schedules
  • Proficiency in word, excel, and online CMMS systems

Nice To Haves

  • A technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Associate’s degree in Machining or Certificate in Industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Daily, receives assigned work order to complete on equipment and completes tasks in the allocated timeline. Upon completion of work, enters appropriate information onto worksheet for submission into MRP and CMMS system.
  • Performs scheduled PMs and visually inspect.
  • Test assigned machines and equipment for proper functionality.
  • May be required to order requisition parts as needed.
  • Perform repairs on production machines and/or equipment when a malfunction has been detected.
  • May discuss machine operation variations with Maintenance Manager or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem and repair the machine.
  • Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
  • Perform machine installations/moves and building maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Ensures that a high level of safety is always adhered to on and off the production floor.
  • Assist in TPM development and implementation.
  • All duties covered under Maintenance Technician level I.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
