About The Position

MUST DO Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns. RESPONSIBILITIES Complete assigned work orders accurately and within required timeframes. Perform basic HVAC maintenance (filters, belts, thermostats). Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, valves, pumps, and clear blockages. Conduct regular scheduled walkthroughs to assess building and asset conditions, to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns. Track all repair and maintenance records and information in the maintenance management system (CMMS). Perform carpentry and building repairs (drywall, doors, locks, ceiling tiles, and flooring). Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies. Respond to after-hours or emergency maintenance calls as required. Perform snow removal and ice treatment as needed.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience working in facilities maintenance
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on routine maintenance tasks
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors, under supervision
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Familiar with computers and able to use CMMs/work order system to document repair actions
  • Ability to endure physical work, which may include heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required objects over 50 pounds
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
  • Stand, walk, kneel, and climb for extended periods
  • Work on ladders and roofs
