About The Position

Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment. Perform various facilities maintenance activities. Job Description 1st shift position minimum $26 per hour and up based on experience. Key Accountabilities: Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and similar problems on machinery/equipment and perform timely repairs. Establish appropriate frequency and perform regular preventive maintenance activities on all machinery/equipment in the facility. Perform timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain a clean and safe work area. Dismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired equipment. Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs. Coordinate and make recommendations on work-related contracts and services. Supervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance. Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements. This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery. Requirements

  • Demonstrate mechanical and technical aptitude
  • 3-5 years experience in an industrial, maintenance environment
  • College degree or certificate in a technical area or related field
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
  • Safety Mindset
