About The Position

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician II , you'll take charge of maintaining and repairing critical systems, including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC, at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport, NC. This role involves a variety of tasks like changing filters, performing repairs, conducting preventative maintenance, and assisting in inventory compliance. Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 4 years in mechanical, electrical, or HVAC maintenance, with a focus on plumbing and carpentry
Skills: Strong problem-solving and customer service abilities
Attitude: Adaptable, self-disciplined, and positive team player
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background Checks: Must pass Keystone Management and Federal Aviation Administration background checks.
Clearance: Must successfully complete the Charlotte Douglas airport SIDA badge and drivers test (up to two attempts).
Driver’s License: Valid license and a clean driving history.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair a variety of building systems and equipment.
Conduct HVAC maintenance, including filter changes and coil cleaning.
Follow all safety protocols, including OSHA, PPE requirements, and site-specific guidelines.
Use a computer-based CMMS system to log work orders, hours, and maintenance records.
Available for emergency on-call coverage as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Collaborate with service personnel, inspectors, and vendors as required.
