About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on equipment and systems within the dairy processing facility. This role involves maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems that support pasteurization, filling, packaging, and refrigeration operations. The technician ensures equipment operates efficiently, reliably, and in compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards to support continuous production.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment as a maintenance technician or mechanic.
Working knowledge or mechanical and hydraulic systems.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance standards preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain, and repair boilers, pumps, compressors, filters, tanks, and other equipment in machine rooms.
Maintain and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, including associated components.
Service and repair pasteurizing equipment to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Maintain and repair automated conveyors, case handling systems, filling equipment, and packaging machinery.
Maintain and repair blow molding equipment used in production operations.
Service and repair high – and low-pressure plumbing, piping, and vacuum systems.
Fabricate, modify, and build components as required to support operations.
Troubleshoot equipment issues to the component level, including interpreting and applying electrical schematics and blueprints.
Provide training and guidance to new maintenance team members to ensure safe and effective work practices.
Other duties may be assigned.
