About The Position

Responsible for assisting in the overall physical repair and maintenance of the warehouse facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three years minimum experience as a Maintenance Tech in a related industry or one to two years’ experience with a trade school.

Responsibilities

• Assists Maintenance Tech II in various duties including but not limited to painting, moving furniture, replacing lamps in office, warehouse and dock lights, and light construction.
• Conducting regular safety inspections on the building, grounds and equipment including but not limited to , roofing, masonry, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, fire systems, exit doors, dock levelers, dock doors, pallet racking.
• Inspecting and testing machinery and equipment, and d iagnoses mechanical problems.
• Dismantling defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
• Assists in Installation, fabrication, modification, demolishing conveyors, equipment, offices and other structures.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Work cooperatively with others.
• Interact with employees and customers in an appropriate manner.
• Plan, prioritize and monitor activities.
• Complete assigned tasks/projects in a timely manner.
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures
