About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Technician I will complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and other equipment, systems or structures. This role ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities, responds to spills and other emergency situations, performing necessary tasks, and assists in emergencies as needed.

Requirements

• 1 3+ years of experience in commercial property, multi-unit residential and/or related facilities maintenance role
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Plumbing
• Basic knowledge and understanding of HVAC Systems (i.e., Filter changes)
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Refrigeration
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Electric (i.e., Distribution systems)
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Carpentry
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
• Ability to define problems, collect information and establish facts
• Initiative

• Communication Proficiency (oral and written)

• High School diploma or GED
• Safety Certification/Training
• OSHA 10 Certification

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and other equipment, systems or structures
• Ensure repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities
• Respond to spills and other emergency situations, performing tasks necessary
• Assist in emergencies as needed
