About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Technician I is responsible for the execution of Facilities Maintenance work orders as assigned by the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor/Program Director.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Maintains applicable agency trainings.
• Previous experience with various hand tools preferred.
• Lifting up to 50lbs required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in the area of vehicle mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely, safe, and proper execution of work orders as assigned by the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor/Program Director.
• Strong and demonstrable knowledge of facility maintenance best practices with up-to-date, applicable education in multiple facets of the position to ensure a safe environment for all staff and clients of the agency.
• Monitors safety and operating conditions with a deeper understanding of best practices at all agency sites by performing in-depth site inspections and reporting findings back to department leadership.
• Maintains effective record keeping of maintenance performed utilizing department tools such as Excel spreadsheets, facility auditing software, and Google sheets.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
