About The Position

Hydranautics membrane-based solutions are currently in use on seven continents throughout the world for diverse applications such as seawater desalination, industrial high-purity water, surface water treatment, waste water treatment and specialty process applications. POSITION OVERVIEW: Under direct supervision, performs minor general maintenance related tooperations, machinery equipment and automated systems. Entry-level positionshadows higher level technicians to understand and execute routinepreventative, predictive and maintenance repairs; uses tools of the tradesuch as multi-meter True RMS, inside/outside calipers, pliers (various),mechanics level, power tools, precision measuring instruments, Allen WrenchHex Set Standard & Metric, Phillips screwdriver and band shears, L, R& C.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma and 0-1 years’ experience; or equivalentcombination of education and experience.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulicprocesses and repair methods/techniques.
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematicsand/or blueprints as well as technical product specifications tounderstand identify standard manufacturing parts. In addition, mustbe able to read safety rules, operating & maintenanceinstructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to observe and learn from others in the maintenance ofmachines as well as ability for continuous learning and applicationof maintenance techniques/methods.
  • Organize and prioritize work orders while meeting deadlines tominimize production downtime with a high-level of accuracy in afast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Basic arithmetic functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplyingand dividing and use of their applications.
  • Basic ability to deal with problems/issues involving some variationin standardized situations.
  • Work under direct supervision, independently and foster acooperative spirit within a large and/or small team.
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to executee-mails, word documents and open power point presentations and useEnterprise Resources Planning (ERP) Systems.
  • Must obtain Hydranautics Forklift, Genie Boom and Scissor LiftCertification.

Nice To Haves

  • Electromechanical Certificate, a plus.
  • Experience in an automation environment, a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Checks the operation of machines and assists in trouble-shootingelectrical and/or mechanical equipment problems.
  • Performs routine preventative and predictive maintenance onmachines and equipment.
  • Identifies the appropriate machine part for replacement or repairand provides name to Maintenance Administrator for a timely orderminimizing production equipment downtime.
  • Maintains work orders on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Documents allmachine preventative, predictive and/or maintenance repairs clearlyand concisely for historical and future maintenance purposes.
  • Continues education and/or training by taking a class related tomaintenance technicians’ job on a continuous basis.
  • Drives company vehicles for parts delivery or pick up occasionally.
  • Follows safety regulations and adhering to OSHA and Cal OSHAstandards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
