About The Position

JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigerationequipment and systems. Maintain the safe operation of highly complex systems and equipment. Specificsystems may include: electronic/pneumatic environmental controls, fan powered boxes and auxiliary equipment (various pumps, heat exchangers, air compressors, etc.) chiller operations, BAS controls,pump operations, water treatment program, air handler units, VAVs, walk-in coolers and freezers,refrigerators, ice machines and boiler operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Three (3) years of Maintenance Tech experience to include HVAC experience. Experience may be substituted if graduate from a HVAC program.
• For systems that include BAS controls, experience must include one (1) year of commercial/healthcare HVAC/HVAC BAS experience or graduation from a BAS program.
• EPA Universal Certification
• Valid Georgia drivers license & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500 criteria
