About The Position
The Oaks of Clearwater is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Tech/HVAC for our Senior Living Community in downtown Clearwater, FL. Our 15 acre campus is on a bluff overlooking Clearwater Bay. We have Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and a 60 bed Rehab Center. This position will focus on the Assisted Living & Memory Care. Ideal candidate must be outgoing and personable & having prior Senior Living experience is a plus, but not required. Applicants with experience in senior living will be considered first. Applicants must have care and compassion for our elderly residents, be highly motivated and have the ability to multi task. Successful candidates will be extremely dependable, detailed oriented, patient, and compassionate for the elderly. SUMMARY: Maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment; to perform repairs, and preventive maintenance on refrigeration systems, evaporative coolers, electrical/mechanical controls, kitchen appliances, general plumbing throughout assigned facility including the skills to make an apartment move in ready.
Requirements
- Must have experience in a residential environment, preferably a full service Senior Living Community
- HVAC experience is a must
- Electrical experience is a must
- Plumbing experience is a must
- Commercial Appliances experience is a must
- Apartment make ready experience is a must
- Applicants must also have care and compassion for our elderly residents, be highly motivated and have the ability to multi task.
- Successful candidates must be extremely dependable, detailed oriented, patient, and compassionate for the elderly.
