About The Position

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting daily shop operations by performing a variety of general tasks. Responsibilities include assisting with equipment maintenance, facility upkeep, shop support, and logistics assistance, while performing a wide range of tasks that support operations. This role helps ensure the shop runs efficiently and maintains quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience working in an industrial or machine shop setting preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience with component assembly and dynamic balancing preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment and a commitment to safety excellence.
• Responsible for understanding and complying with the safety policy, procedures, and instructions.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on shop machinery, tools, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and service logs.
• General upkeep of the building, including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and building repairs.
• Prep and paint parts.
• General shop cleanup.
• Assist personnel with logistic shipments and deliveries.
• Prepare and box parts for shipment.
• Operate fork truck (Training will be provided).
• Operate work truck to vendors and warehouses.
• Perform other duties as required.
