About The Position

The Maintenance Technician II performs all general to complex facility maintenance under minimum supervision in a manner which ensures the preservation of optimum quality and efficient production. Perform service requests and repairs along with preventative maintenance work. Perform maintenance work for make-ready units as directed. Clean and inspect in building systems and report deficiencies to supervisor. Adhere to the company’s safety programs.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent required, with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
  • 2-4 years painting experience preferred.
  • Technical training 1-2 years.
  • Basic landscape training 1-2 years.
  • HVAC training preferred.
  • Plumbing training preferred.
  • Training in all hand and mechanical tools.
  • Safety training experience preferred.
  • Ability to complete work orders.
  • Ability to take direction and complete tasks.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments.
  • Basic computer, tablet skills required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, guests and owners.
  • Ability to maintain composure under high pressure environments.

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC certification.
  • CPO certification.
  • EAP certification.

Responsibilities

  • Apply intermediate working knowledge of facilities maintenance such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing and repairs as needed.
  • Perform plumbing maintenance such as pipes, drains, faucets, disposals, showers and Jacuzzi tubs using methods that include soldering, brazing silver, PVC, CPVC and fittings.
  • Resets, replaces breakers, ballasts and other electrical fixtures including switches and sockets; prevent and trouble shoot possible electric hazards.
  • Troubleshooting on all systems such as HVAC, boilers, pool certification etc. Competencies in plumbing, electric and HVAC repairs with minimal assistance or supervision.
  • Complete repairs on interior walls, wall coverings and ceilings by patching drywall, replacing wood or wall coverings or texture and painting.
  • Maintains the unit readiness, ensuring everything is in working order.
  • Assist with unit inspections.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
