About The Position

The Maintenance Technician Apprentice role is a one-year training program designed for individuals seeking to gain hands-on experience in building maintenance and repair. Under close supervision, the apprentice will perform basic preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on buildings, industrial systems, and equipment, while developing essential trade skills in various areas such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC systems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions and communications.
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook and digital literacy in work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventive maintenance and corrective repairs under supervision.
• Assist in monitoring building system operations and performance.
• Follow all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and safety.
• Complete maintenance and repair records as required.
• Maintain professional appearances of the property and common areas.
• Facilitate office access and office moves by providing moving crates and assembling furniture.
