  • Perform general plumbing, electrical, building repairs, as instructed.
  • Replace bulbs, ballasts, ceiling tile, touch up paint, moving equipment, repair nurse calls, door repairs, completion of daily work orders.
  • Maintain and order stock as needed to perform repairs.
  • Replace/repair motors, bearings, seals, shafts, gears housing, dampers, switches.
  • Operate/Maintain emergency power unit, maintain water heaters, high & low pressure vessels, boilers, air compressors.
  • Maintain plumbing lines, drains, water closets, & commodes. Be able to repair or install new plumbing fixtures.
  • Ability to weld/solder as directed.
  • Know and perform specific job duties during emergency codes (code red, pink, silver, gray, etc.).
  • Complete basic level of electrical repairs.
  • Install electrical outlets, conduit, circuit breakers and wiring. Work with circuits energized as most systems remain on.
  • Advance knowledge of plumbing/sewer/irrigation systems. Trouble-shoot and resolve associated problems.
  • Advance knowledge of electrical systems - troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5 years of relevant work experience.
