About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician 3, you will join us in keeping a best-in-class senior living campus running smoothly. In this advanced role, you’ll perform diagnostics and repair across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems, drive preventive maintenance, and help drive fast, high-quality work-order completion. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Technical schooling and/or background preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
  • Ability to assist in coaching Tech 1 and 2 to help develop their skills.
  • Ability to follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Painting - Install, finish, repair, paint, remove, and dispose of drywall or other material.
  • Electrical - Test receptacles, change light bulbs, change light switches/outlets, switch out cables, fish lines, and change ballasts.
  • Plumbing - Plunge toilets, lift and replace toilets, unclog sinks, clear disposals, change out faucets, change shower valves, and snake main lines. Must have experience in removing and installing shower doors.
  • HVAC– clean coils, change filters, reset thermostats, diagnose a/c issues, change thermostats, reset RTUs. Basic Knowledge of BMS system and back net controller
  • Health Center beds – reset beds, change air mattresses, diagnose remote control issues, and change out full beds.
  • TV – fix remote control issues, reset TVs, hang TVs on walls.
  • Appliances – work controls and change out appliances (stoves, refrigerator, microwaves, washer/dryer, dishwasher, etc.), find possible fault problems, change micro boards, diagnose ice maker issues, and clean vents.
  • Vehicle maintenance – Operate maintenance equipment, not limited to hand or power tools, company vehicles.
  • Perform yearly dryer vent cleaning.
