About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all hotel equipment is in good working order through routine repairs and preventative maintenance checks. This role involves assisting the Chief Engineer and other team members in maintaining the building and grounds, while also providing a safe environment for guests and staff. The technician is expected to deliver professional service and support other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Knowledge of safety standards and emergency procedures.
• Ability to perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance checks.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a hospitality environment.
• Familiarity with hotel operations and guest services.

Responsibilities

• Keep all equipment in good working order with routine repairs and preventative maintenance checks.
• Assist the Chief Engineer on building and grounds maintenance.
• Provide a safe environment for guests and hotel staff by meeting all safety standards.
• Provide professional courteous service to guests and accommodate various requests.
• Be a team player and assist in other departments when help is needed.
• Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and aware of all Job Safety Analysis guides.
