About The Position

Under general supervision of the Maintenance Project Manager, responsible for general maintenance repairs, related PM's in a complex building campus. May include tasks such as finish & trim, flooring and ceiling repairs, minor electrical repairs, minor plumbing repairs, minor mechanical maintenance and other tasks related to building condition. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
• Trade school or on the job training with a recognized service organization in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Boiler, Steam and Central Plant Operations.
• 3 years' experience in Healthcare Maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance repairs in a complex building campus.
• Conduct finish & trim, flooring and ceiling repairs.
• Execute minor electrical repairs.
• Carry out minor plumbing repairs.
• Perform minor mechanical maintenance.
• Complete other tasks related to building condition.
