The Maintenance Tech 1 delivers hands-on technical support for equipment, machinery, tools, furniture, modular offices, and facility systems in low-impact, non-critical environments. This role ensures smooth daily operations by performing preventive maintenance and executing timely corrective repairs with basic troubleshooting expertise. Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years in maintenance role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic electrical knowledge and proficiency with hand tools

Responsibilities

  • Execute preventive maintenance tasks on basic, low-criticality equipment. Proactively identify issues, provide clear feedback to the supervisor, and recommend improvements to strengthen equipment reliability and optimize the preventive maintenance strategy.
  • Diagnose and repair reported equipment issues quickly and effectively to restore optimal working conditions. Communicate findings and recurring concerns to the supervisor and collaborate with senior technicians when troubleshooting complex or repeat problems.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests by partnering with customers to understand needs and deliver timely, high-quality solutions. Track required materials, spare parts, and supplies to ensure efficient execution and minimize downtime.
  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, layout changes, refurbishments, and other improvement initiatives, contributing to successful project execution and continuous operational enhancement.
