About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, plumbing, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems in campus facilities. Maintenance Technician services provided are in accord with facility policies and procedures and consistent with state and federal laws and regulations to maintain an environment that enhances the quality of life for residents.

Requirements

• Knowledge of plumbing and electrical tasks.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and complete checklists.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills.
• Ability to support residents with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems.
• Follow facility policies and procedures in maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
